Hidden in the Southern Middle School arboretum (aka "Sacred Grove"), this cache is easily accessed from either Harvey Winters Rd. or a short walk from the Southern Middle School parking lot. Located at the base of a hemlock tree, cache is at 2529 feet above sea level.
Cache has been placed as part of the "Reward is Outside" program, whereby students are introduced to exciting adventure activities as part of a schoolwide incentive program. Geocaching has been introduced as one of many outdoor activities, including rafting, rock climbing, rappelling, hiking, snow shoeing and biking.
