where are we now? Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

where are we?
wait, where are we now?
wait, where does this come from?
and... where does it go?

Photobucket

this is a five stage multi cache in santa cruz county.
it will take you from a little known eatery near the beach in rio del mar flats and give you a tour of some real estate that is well know by local kids and known by only a select number of adults- unless they work for the county or grew up in the area and liked to get into mischief.

the first four caches are micro and each one of them contains coordinates to the next cache.

there is no puzzle, no riddle, no problem to solve. just a simple treasure hunt in the aptos cuts.

a couple of these are super easy.
a couple of them are not.

in either case- every cache holds a ~calamity strange~ special skull for the FTF
and every one contains it's own log. only the final has treasure for trade and room for lot's of loot!

be warned: pay attention to the terrain rating. this cache series is probably not appropriate for small children,
and more than one of these may have compromised entrance routes during winter. the final stage, in particular, *will* require you to cross a creek. be aware that during storms or after heavy rainfall this area will not be accessible to anyone but an experienced outdoorsman. please be careful.

on a lighter note- if the weather is good and these areas don't seem to angry- go explore a little... especially at the final- that's a pretty neat route right there. you can go right on in. : ) [and *please* just like any cache- make sure the container is well-hidden when you are done with it. some of these areas are full of lurkers. be aware of watchful eyes!
