Geocache Description:

Have a picnic! From this picnic area to the east you can see Fort Lancaster. Park at the Picnic area and hike to the cache, no need to cross any fence lines unless you park in the wrong spot.

As always when caching in West Texas watch out for wildlife, when I placed this cache I saw two deer, one porcupine (very near the cache location) and one Mountain Lion, from a distance as I was back at the car.

The hike from the picnic area is roughly 1/4 mile, mostly even yet rocky terrain, I recommend you don't go it alone unless you must, you'll be fairly close to a little cliff that you'll want to watch out for. Use Caution.
