This cache should not be attempted during a storm. This road washes out easily. During late winter and spring, there are bee hive boxes near by, so expect several flying friends. I did, when I placed this cache and had to drive several miles with my windows down to get them out of my car. What an adventure…..even when placing caches.
There could be several fishing muggles near GZ. You can drive to GZ, but parking is limited.
You are looking for a magnetic film canister. Not too difficult, just a cache to get you out to the Chaney Ranch Quadrangle 7.5 map of Fresno County. GZ is elevated so you may have a good view of the landscape if you’re looking to the southwest (left) of GZ. Photographs of the area would be a good cover, if you encounter muggles.
There is a Benchmark east of the cache by a few feet in the cement headstock.
No need to cross any fences or go near
the water
This cache is placed in the Chaney Ranch Quadrangle map for the up-coming Fresno County Quad Challenge.
