The cement modules in the field near the caches are pre-fab prision cells. A cell on each side, with the plumbing and electrical controls in the middle. The city of Mendota was in a partnership with a company to build a private prision some years ago. The project was never completed and so those are the leftovers.
The prision you see in the distance is a Federal medium/minimum prision.
Park & Grab. There is limited parking on the shoulder. Please be careful for traffic. The typical container for this type of hide did not fit, so I had to use another container. Not my first choice, but it works for now.
This cache is for the Chaney Ranch quadrangle map for the upcoming Fresno County Quad challange.
