Geocache Description:

This is our first cache, and we thought this lovely oasis in the midst of development was the perfect spot to start. Take a stroll along the boardwalk to enjoy some wildlife in this new nature preserve park.

Please use the parking lot at the park entrance on Sunrise Valley Drive, and not the nearby office complex (many "No Trespassing" signs have recently been installed there). Tread lightly and take care not to disturb the wildlife and native plants in the area. As of August 2012, I've increased the rating for the terrain from a 1 to 1 1/2 because of the vegetation that has grown up in this area.

This cache has been placed with the permission of the Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA). The park is open from dawn to dusk and night caching in FCPA parks is expressly forbidden.

The cache contains an unactivated mini FTF Signal Geocoin as a first-to-find prize.
