Geocache Description:

First of a series of 15 caches between Edgeworth and Bisley. The full series involves an 8 mile walk which may be muddy in places.
Difficult to get accurate fix under trees so use hint.

Richard Sunieve, herdsman to the local knight, developed leprosy which spread throughout his body to such an extent that he was forced to leave the village. His mother followed him and fed him with food on a long stick. He eventually heard that a visit to the shrine of St Thomas a Becket at Canterbury might cure him so he made the journey and tasted the spring water from the shrine mixed with a spot of the saint's blood. All signs of the disease disappeared immediately and he returned to Edgeworth rejoicing.

The remainder of caches in the series are :-
Church micro, Edgeworth
