Since there is no cache in Kolkata up to now, I just decided to place this one, the first of the city, probably in whole Bengal.
The Maidan Park is the largest urban park in Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is a vast stretch of field and home to numerous play grounds, including the famous cricketing venue Eden Gardens, several football stadia, and Kolkata Race Course. Maidan is dotted with several statues and pieces of architecture, most notable being the Victoria Memorial.
The cache is placed in a quiet area of Kalkuta, there was no human when I placed the cache inside the HRBC Project. Within this project some trees are planted to show to the public. This area is accessible all time, a bit smelly sometimes.
Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com.
