Geocache Description:

Rooks Froggy

I have adjusted the ratings of these caches. I was out here last week and with the heat and tall grasses, I think they are fair..
Also, I am sure cachers coming out here will be trying to get as many as possible surely ending up with some #5 terrain ratings. I tried to mix it up as best as I could for ones trying to fill in their difficulty/terrain grids ;-)
--------------------------------------------------------
All of these were built on the spur of the moment.
From idea to the being published within two days including building all the caches.
Quick and dirty as I just happened to have a free day.

No pen/pencil

So, I had this brilliant idea, yikes not again! LOL I built something on screen that looked easy enough that I planned to knock it out today. Well, on screen looks much smaller than in the field. On top of that, trail – what trail? On top of that, knee high grass in areas with big hidden lava rocks. On top of that, ankle deep mud in some areas. On top of that poison oak ridden edge so I couldn’t drop down to place two of them. On top of that, I simply ran out of steam and daylight. Whew, long start to the cache description.
Here is the coords to the ones I didn’t get planted.

Onto the cache. I placed these as close as I could without violating the geocache saturation clause. Close enough that you can almost leap frog over them :-).

All “should” be quick easy finds. Figured with this many out here hopefully you can clean them up in one trip. I do still need to place 7 or so, so I would like to ask that this area be reserved until I can get them place.

I am having a hard time trying to rate the cache terrain as I had 6.5 hours of running around out there. Depending on your route and the season I think they should be fair. Summer time, well I would NOT recommend these in our summer heat. If you do go for them please be sure to bring lots of water, and then some more!
Also snakes, yes they are out here! Tall grass and rocks, please be very aware and cautious of them out here. I tried to hide these out of ideal looking snake areas.

Nuff said.

Enjoy!
