This cache
is trucker-friendly as there are a couple of convenient places to
park your rig. There is parking next to the cache so that walking
across the exit ramp will not be necessary, but if you choose to
park across the street, use extreme caution crossing
over—look in ALL of the directions,
please!
The terrain
is rated so because of the need to walk down a steep, grassy
embankment into the small stand of pine trees. Once at the bottom,
the terrain is flat, but heavily covered with pine straw and is a
bit uneven.
You are
looking for a small plastic jar full of law enforcement swag for
trading. There is also a beautiful law enforcement geocoin for the
FTF.
This
interchange is named for a fallen police officer. Sergeant Carlton
"Rick" Pope, 29, of the Fountain Inn Police Dept. was killed in an
automobile accident on Oct. 9, 1996 as he was ending a high speed
pursuit. Greenville
