New Era was placed as both the first cache we hid as well as
representing the bridging of us into a new phase of our lives.
Aside from being out on our own now, there were many medical
problems and deaths within our families and our friends' that
seemed to have finally stopped right before the new year marked by
the clean bill of health of a close uncle that finally beat his
cancer.
In addition, 2010 was a hard year just in general and we are glad
to see it go. So for anyone needing to step away from any
hardships, we invite you to take some time and relax at this
peaceful area.
There's water running anytime the lake is healthy and wildlife is
abundant (say hello to the 'blind' beaver for us if you see
him).
There is a parking lot to the northeast up Pub Boat Ramp Rd. that
makes this an easy dirt-trail cache, whereas coming from the west
is a little longer and hillier.
