Geocache Description:


The co-ordinates listed are the car parking for this multi cache.

It's a walk along the ridge to Shining Tor (highest point in cheshire), and you will need to collect 2 bits of information to find the cache which is located close to the car park.

When doing maintenance with my kids (6 & 8) it took us about 2 hours, but if you want to add on an extra part and collect some of the TALLAM series you can drop down into the Valley of the Gods.

The actual cache itself will be easy to find, you just need to find 2 bits of information and do some simple maths.

Final location = N53 17.AAA W2 00.BBB

2 waypoints are attached to this cache, the first is for visitors board at the start of the walk, and the second is for a seat next to the trig point.

AAA = 507 - distance to the formation of rocks that were used to name this place
BBB = 671 + years of hard work from the ranger service to preserve the national park
