Which ever way you come to the cache be prepared to meet a leech or two.
Bring a pen and write small.

The track which takes you to this cache was originally constructed in 1985 by a local resident as an access way to a beautiful area.
The track passes through a range of forest habits, from dry sclerophyll to wet semi rain forest with stands of coachwood and sassafras.
We have seen a green tree snake, red belly black snakes, a pink tongued skink (not usually seen south of Gosford), boobook owls, and regularly see swamp wallabies.
There is a natural spring along the track which has cool clean water all year round.
The track takes you over, along and in an unnamed creek called Boobook creek by the locals. (Even after heavy rains we have been able to walk it without difficulty)
Best of all this is seen in a very short distance.
