Geocache Description:

This is one of two caches placed to honor the Cozort Family who donated the 25 acres that make up this park. Longtime friends of ours, these caches are placed with their blessing.

Mary Hannah Cozort Harper is the gracious lady for whom this cache is named. Her home backs up to this park and can actually be seen from ground zero. Mary's grandson said that he used to sit out back with his grandparents, eating breakfast and overlooking the area which Wayne and Mary have since donated to the city of Broken Arrow for all of us to appreciate. An accomplished cook, Mary also enjoys needlework, particularly crocheting. Trade items in the cache are buttons and pins. Please hold with the theme and trade accordingly. The cache is smaller than what we would normally call small, but bigger than what we would call a micro. The cache is a short distance off of a decent trail, although it can be overgrown and nearly impassable during the summer. Some folks miss the trail and end up very near the edge of a creek bank, so we wouldn't recommend hunting it at night if we've had much rain. Please replace the container exactly as you find it. There are a lot of muggles around and we would like this one to stay put! ***Honors go to the very determined GrassHopper Jonez for his 2nd snowy FTF!***
