Nice simple cache in a nice area of the Southern Highlands.
The Paddy's River Box Tree is the big one on Eridge Park Road with a sign describing it .
Save Our Heritage.This tree is a "Eucalyptus Macarturii" 0r Paddy"s River Box. Once a very predominent species in the area, but now quite uncommon mainly due to land clearing. The species of tree is listed as a : vulnerable Species".
We have placed it here in a lovely area of the Southern Highlands.
Come and visit in April (1 day event ) for our "Bundanoon is Brigadoon" and September ? October (2 weeks) for our "Tulip Time"Festival.
You may need a pen if the pencils go missing.
Please enjoy the area.
Have placed it on Australia Day.
Parking is best on the side street as the main road can be busy.
