This is a letter box, remember to bring your rubber stamp. If you do not have one, leave a drawing or a print in the book. As with all desert caches, a letter box stamp pad will dry up quickly, so if you are a serious letter box collector, might be a good idea to bring your own stamp pad.
Letterboxes have been around for a very long time. The object of a Letterbox, is to exchange rubber stamp designs. You stamp your personal letterbox log book with the stamp inside the cache, and leave your mark in the letterbox log.
