Várady castle



The Várady castle (originally Splényi castle) was built in 1825 in neoclassical style. The building was quite run-down condition, but the wings and the main building's roof has been renewed. The fence was made by József Várady, who was a gun supplier of the 1848 Hungarian War of Independence, supposedly from gun barrels.



You don't need to go into the garden!
The cache contains only log book, so you have to bring your own pen.

A Várady-kastély (eredetileg Splényi-kastély) 1825-ben épült klasszicista stílusban. Az épület elég leromlott állapotban volt, de a két oldalépületet és a foépület tetozetét már sikeült felújítani. A kerítést Várady József, az 1848-49-es szabadságharc fegyverszállítója kovácsoltatta, állítólag puskacsövekbol.



Nem kell bemenni a kertbe!
A dobozban csak a logbook van, vigyél magaddal tollat!
