Town House Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Capt. Bob: I recently received this email
“Who gave you permission to place your geocache hide? It may be a government (town, state, or federal), business, or person. I'll need a name and contact info (phone or email) of the property owner to publish a geocache. Saying it's "public property" will not get your geocache published. This can be the trickiest question to answer - if it seems like public property you can call the town hall to ask, or try to find an assessor's map online (which lists owners) by doing a Google search for GIS town name map, and then contacting them. For municipal property, often someone in the recreation department can give permission.

None of my caches comply with this directive and I won't change them, therefore I will be archiving all of them. It’s been fun while it lasted!

Geocache Description:

This cache is a potential crime scene, and it’s just one of five other sites in the game series I call “Whodunit?”. The other locations in this series are scattered about in the Pioneer Valley area. The murder victim, the poor Mr. Boddy, has been known to visit these places.

GC2MWPW - Mountain Retreat
GC2MWQ1 - Town House
GC2MWQ6 - Country Estate
GC2PCNE - Suburban Home
GC2MWQC - Lakeside Cabin
GC2MWQF - Manor House

This potential crime scene is available as a stand-alone cache, with its own log sheet, but it also includes clues to help solve a murder mystery and access to the final cache.

To learn more about how to play the game, read about it here: GC2MWQH - Whodunit?

This cache, like the other five caches, is a match case that includes a log sheet and a clue card. You should bring a pencil and a clue notebook (available from the “Whodunit” listing) to record what you see here (and what you don’t see) if you want to play the game.

Please do not take the clue card. It must remain in the cache so others can have fun solving the mystery also. If you don’t want to play the game, that's okay too, just enjoy the series as traditional caches.

Note: Stay on the bike trail until you meet the trail heading north.
