Geocache Description:

This is my first hide. You are looking for an ammo can. I discovered this cool little spot when Polk County Environmental Lands opened up Fort Frasier trail to Circle B. Have a good hike and enjoy my favorite park in Polk County! Please replace the cache exactly as found. When I placed the cache there was a pair of binoculars hanging from the tree. Try them out to see the beautiful birds in the area.

Cache is located at the Circle B Bar Reserve. The Reserve is open daily, year-round, from 6:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. Standard Time and until 8:30 P.M. during Daylight Savings Time. Dogs are not permitted in the Reserve due to their status as an alligator's favorite snack food. Since a large portion of the Reserve is restored wetland, there's a good chance it will be wet during the rainy season. Don’t forget the insect repellent and water. Be careful and enjoy the area. Be advised that there are always risks associated with visiting nature preserves.

Please sign in at the information board in the parking lot near the trailhead, and note that you're there to geocache. Polk County's Environmental Lands Program is receptive to caching. Signing in shows that you appreciate this. Please be respectful of this property, its vegetation & wildlife. Make sure you grab a map of the Reserve at the trailhead. This cache is located on a Polk County Environmental Lands site. Please stay on marked trails and sign the guest book when possible at the visitor’s desk. Polk County Environmental Lands Program encourages Geocaching on its sites.
