Crows Nest Traditional Cache

Parking is available at Burbush Hill car park N 50° 48.896 W 001° 42.849
This is a clip lock container.
Cache placed in accordance with the GAGB New Forest guidelines. Please note there is no night caching allowed in the New Forest.
This cache is just under a mile walk from Burbush Hill car park, the track takes you accross open heathland and into Dur Hill Inclosure. The Cache is situated just inside the Inclosure where there are some wonderful views of the surrounding Forest.
This enclosure was established in 1961 as one of the "Verderers' inclosures, Traditional hardwoods like oak and beech do not prosper on the sandy acid soil, but conifer species such as Scots pine cope very well.
