Geocache Description:

Bradfield Shore is a picturesque beach on the banks of the River Stour. You can look up towards Harwich and Felixstowe, see the Royal Hospital School tower across the River, watch the boats come down to Mistley Quay, the trains, and of course it is great for bird watching too! It is a lovely walk at anytime of the year, perfect for picnics and BBQs in the summer, and is very 'muggle' free, you very rarely see anyone here.

It is accessed down a by-way, be warned if you drive down, it is pot holey, and when the tide is high there isn't always room to turn round at the bottom, so it may be safer to leave the car somewhere at the top and walk down.

You are looking for a black pot, it has a few swaps in to start it off. Please make sure you click the lid back on properly, and replace exactly as found.

If the tide is down, from here you can also walk along to 'The Sunken Barge', along the Public Footpath, but it can get very muddy.

*** Congratulations to lawfordlass for being the FTF! ***
