How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Not too difficult to find but you will need to be very stealthy as the beach is a popular place in the summer months. Make sure you bring a pen for this nano, there's a BISON here somewhere.

Due to the dunes eroding the container has moved a little and has changed in appearance. This is a very high Muggle area so serious stealth will be required.
Please Note: This is a Military Training Area on which live firing and other pyrotechnics may be used. The area is generally open public access. One of the safety rules for public access is:- Do not, (and ensure that children do not) approach, touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey all byelaws and locally posted information concerning times when the area may be closed.
If approaching this cache from Penally car park and the firing range is active, with red flags flying, then access will be restricted guards are placed to prevent access. If access is restriced this can be accessed from along the beach without difficulty.
Times are published in the local press and the phone number to check times is 01834 845950.
Parking can be found in the station car park but is limited. Be aware that there is a level crossing from the car park to the beach and children should be supervised.
Dogs are allowed free access to the beach during the winter months, check for access in the summer. This cache has been placed with permission of Countryside Council of Wales.
