Parking for this cache is available at the included parking waypoint. From the parking lot the cache is a short walk down the trail. The cache is just off the trail about 30 feet. You're looking for a 5x7 lock-n-lock that contains another 2 latch container for the log. The cache contains a logbook and a little room for trading items and trackables. It might be more difficult in summer when there is more vegetation.
We designed this cache from memory alone to fit in an opening in a very old maple tree. Apparently our memory wasn't too good because it didn't fit! Since it was late and we didn't want to come back out, we placed it here. Lots of other caches in this area, a good day of caching could be planned here if you haven't visited the area before!
