This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

If you must, it is almost a drive-up, but isn't it better if you get some exercise and walk or bike? Flat trail, paved just about to the cache. Only contains a log, so bring your pen.

Terrain is 1.5 since the last few feet may not be wheelchair accessible, and it may not be possible to get it while remaining seated in a wheelchair. You do not have to climb any fences. It is a paved trail until about a meter or two from the cache location, and that part is flat dirt.

You have to start somewhere. This cache represents two starts:

This is the (current) start of a long creek trail along the Blossom River and Los Alamitos Creek that can get you to about 20 caches without having to cross a street. If you are willing to cross one street, you can walk (or bike) all the way to Santa Teresa Park.

This is also a start for me placing caches. I have been meaning to do so for a while, but never got around to it. I picked up some cache containers at Workerofwood's 2010 Little Shop of Horrors event, so I now need to start placing them. I hope this hide is worthy of the many caches that I have had the pleasure to find. I was inspired by many.

Congratulations, with appropriate recognition and glory, goes to Geokashers for FTF. The first half dozen finds were done without a hint (well, there was a hint, but it said "No easy ride for FTF: appropriate hints will be provided after there have been some successful finds."). Those of you coming later have a hint that can help, but first try without looking at it!
