England's Stonehenge has nothing on this archeological gem, right here in "Rim country". This one is easy to find and only feet away from parking. It is near a circle of massive boulders( no kidding). It is on the way to another of AZ's natural wonders The coordinates should bring you within 15 feet. This area is more suited for a micro but thought I would try a full size cache. This is the only reason I only opened it for premium members.
Thousands of people drive right by this one on the way to the Tonto Natural Bridge; a wonder in its own right. They fail to appreciate the historical significance of this place. Some people say that many hundreds of years ago a very lost band of Druid warriors settled in Arizona's "Rim Country" Apparently they weren't very ambitious though. But they did leave behind these incredible ruins. If you visit this place you may wonder how such a primitive culture moved these rocks into place. There is an Arizona pin for the FTF. Lots of other cool stuff including a geocoin. Have Fun!!!!!
