In 1968, the artist Andy Warhol said "In the future, everybody will be world famous for 15 minutes." In this day and age of rapid news turnovers and reality shows, that statement seems to be coming true. This series follows the lead of my caches "Bucky Covington" (GC13VKN) and "Ben Vereen" (GC21MM9) in showing that fame can touch even those of us from a small area in central North Carolina. For this particular cache, you are looking for a small camo'd container with log and swag.
ABOUT ASHLEY PULEO:
Ashley Puleo was crowned Miss North Carolina and represented the state in the 2004 Miss USA contest. She finished as second runner up, winning a college sholarship and sponsorship awards. She presently works as a model and educator.
THE LOCAL CONNECTION:
The Joel Puleo, MD, listed on the building is Ms. Puleo's father. He had his regular clinic here for a number of years and still sees patients here on occasion.
