This is a simple multi-cache in a series of geoCaches with connections to town squares in the state of Östergötland. There is one in the series in every county in Östergötland. Each geoCache in the series will give you a micro canister. Note! There used to be a Final cache in this series, but it was archived in the Fall of 2023, and is no longer possible to log.

Österbymo är en tätort och centralort i Ydre kommun i Östergötlands län. Österbymo är också Sveriges befolkningsmässigt minsta kommunala centralort. Eksjö-Österbymo Järnväg öppnade för persontrafik 1915, denna blev sedan nedlagd 1954. Järnvägen gjorde att ett mindre stationssamhälle växte upp invid stationen och tidigare handelsplatsen Österbymo. Att järnvägen kom relativt sent till Österbymo gjorde att samhället aldrig kom att växa som många andra stationssamhällen. Detta gjorde att järnvägen under hela sin tid gick med förlust och relativt snabbt lades ned, något som drabbade Österbymo mycket hårt. I den lilla orten finns ett torg som går under namnet Torget. Det är detta torg som är startkoordinaten på denna multi-cache. För att hitta slutgömman, gå 193 meter i knapp bäring 151°. Där hittar du också en av få sevärdheter i denna ort.

Österbymo is a smaller town, and the central town of Ydre county in the state of Östergötland. Österbymo is also the smallest central town of any county in Sweden, counting population. Eksjö-Österbymo Järnväg (Railroad) was opened for people transportation in 1915. It was closed down 1954. The railroad lead to the growth of a smaller station town near the station and former market place Österbymo. As the railroad reached Österbymo rather late meant that the town never grew as much as many other railway towns. This caused the railway to show red digits during its life, and was soon killed, which came as a big blow to Österbymo. In the small town there is a central town square that is called Torget. It is this square that is the starting point of this multi cache. To find the hiding place of the cache, go 193 meters almost in 151°. At this spot you will also see one of few things of interest in this town.
