ST. THOMAS CIRCULAR
A series of caches that tries to incorporate existing ones to make an ideal pre (or even post) Sunday Lunch circular.
Total distance is 3 miles and there is a steep hill whichever way around you decide to go – suggest you go up St Catherines and down Trebursye Hill. There are a number of places to park, I recommend starting near St Thomas Church / Kensey Vale Bowling Club. There are some lovely views of Launceston / St Stephens along the way.
Can be Cache and dash but I have located them with a walk, rather than a ‘parking space’ in mind. All are ‘large’ micros, traditionally located with the exception of one, which is slightly out of the norm.
If your'e careful you won't get wet feet and although a torch is helpful -its not essential.
I take it the colour of the water derives from the iron and maganese deposits which were mined in Trebursye many years ago.
