Geocache Description:

This cache is on a road that is part of the Old Lincoln Highway. Carl Fischer was the man who built this road and he was going to call it the Coast-To-Coast Rock Highway. The road was completed in 1915 and was instead named after president Abraham Lincoln. It was the first transcontinental highway reaching from New York to California.

This road is part of the section known as the Sierra Nevada Northern Route which went from Verdi, Nevada to Sacramento.

There is a nice little creek nearby for your enjoyment. You are looking for a film container and please be aware of cars as you search.

FTF honors go to RTB & Geodad7
