This is one of a series of caches set in the shape of the number eight (or a capital B!) around the village of Kelby. The route is approximately 4k or 2.5 miles long.
The numbers given to the caches are not the order in which to do them, but represent some feature of the cache site. There is no information to collect, as there is no bonus cache, so they can be found in any order. The route is on minor roads, part of the Danelaw Way (which is a bridle path here) and footpaths, which can be very muddy, so sturdy footwear is recommended. There is one stile on the route, between the village and the cache “Through the G-ate”. The terrain is gently undulating. The roads have wide grass verges, making it possible to park close to all the points where footpaths meet them. You can therefore choose your own starting point, but please be careful not to obstruct access to fields. If you approach and leave this cache through the small gate opposite the church, you can make the whole circuit into a “B”. The cache is a small clip-lock container.
