This cache is a honor to OK67`s terriffic work at the "Bymarka rundt" multi cache. It`s basically a kind of copy of that cachebox concept that i loved so much, after digging around for caches under roots etc.
I want to say a big "THANK U" to OK67 through this cache. It`s dedicated your multi.
Winter 2010/11 i started geocaching and soon discovered a lot of caches in bymarka, which is my natural target for trips in the forest. After some trips i soon found out that the caches of OK67 were perfect to find during winter, and always a "bankers" when i was cachehunting. A lot of the Caches i found were in bad condition, but those of OK67 always were in perfect condition.
"Bymarka rundt" (GC11T2Z) is a Multi of 8 birdboxes that may not be tempting for fast cachers, but for a Wildlife lover its perfect. I can strongly recommend that multi. Take it in turns, then you will get many unforgettable trips.
This cache itself though, is a Birdbox of the same type, but contains a small plastic can for items and a Log. It`s not a multi this time. Its situated relatively close to a track, but still a bit discrete hidden, not far from Lianvannet, where i often walk with my dog.
Nearby there is a small creek with a small beach in summer. Its`s lovley to picnic in the area too.
In winter beware of unsafe ice. Don`t cross the lake if you dont know it`s safe.
