As a child I used this as a cut through from where I lived to access Hallworthy woods whilst out riding my horses and a place for them to cool themselves of with a small splash in the water. On placing his cache my dog liked the water and as soon as she could access the water she jumped straight in.
The road to this cache is unsuitable for motor veichles and would advise only going here in daylight hours as the road is full of pit falls. it is also not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
I placed the cache walking from Treneglos end of the road but found parking very limited and had to park on the grass by the church, Please respect the people who live here in Treneglos and don't block gateways or park in driveways.
I also after dropping of cache drove to the other end of the road and found there was more room for parking here with less chance of getting in peoples way and you can also access the woods from this spot for a lovely woodland walk and the chance to pick up a few more caches hidden within.
As the name suggests the cache is half way along the road and the signs at either end of the road will tell you the same story.
Hopefully the coords are good but the GPS was bouncing around a bit.
There is a pin badge for FTF and room for small trackables and swaps.
