This is the first cache in series of caches that will take the cacher on a 'sporting' tour of Port Macquarie.
Port Macquarie hosts many sporting events and is home to a number of eager sporting minded people.
This passion for the outdoors has lead to the council setting up the 'mayor's sporting fund', which inturn has highlighted some talented sport stars in the region.
This first cache will take the cacher to one of the newest facilities for mixed sports in Port.
This park is called Wayne Richards Park after a mayor of Port Macquarie who was the instigator of the mayors sporting fund.
Many sports are played on these fields, Hockey, Cricket, Soccer and Football to mention a few.
With plans to extend, this park, will soon be one of the major centres for outdoor recreation in the area.
