Basically it's a media-art project and by now I'm sure you can guess what the offline part means :-)
USB extension cables exist and they are your friend!
USB-OTG cables might make it possible to do this with your Android Smartphone.
All Stages except Data4Free are wheelchair accessible. The Stages have been and will be updated to work even after time and passerbys have taken their toll on the electronics.
Visit the Dead-Drops
You will have to visit each Dead-Drop, collecting a number (6 or 7 digits) from each location. You can visit the stages in any order you like. The cache is located roughly between grz6 and Data4Free.
Visit grz6 (D52N0KC)
Note down the number in file "GC2N0KC.txt".
Backup method in case the file vanished:
Note down the exact file-system size in KibiByte (KiB, 210).
Visit GLTDEADDROP (D32N0KC)
On the wall across from the DeadDrop you will find a blue sign. Ignore it and look at the white or silver sign to the right of the blue one.
Note down all it's digits in order. Take those digits as a single number. Mulitply by 10.
Visit PROMISON (D42N0KC):
Note down the number next to the text "Ruf und Fax" in the "Schaufenster" window right of and above the "drop".
Visit FREE_DATA (D12N0KC)

As above, note down the number in the file "GC2N0KC.txt".

Find the cache
Now sum up all 5 numbers. You get "44ABCDEF"
Find the Cache at N 47° 03.ABC E 015° 26.DEF
Cache is held in place by magnet. If you drop it, you have to retrieve it!
