Geocache Description:

This is one of six caches in/around Walnut Bottom. Some of the caches are in places of interest off the beaten path that will hopefully provide a bit of a history lesson.

This cache is located at the former Kessel School house. This white and green building is now home to the Kessel White Eagle 4-H Club, the only 4-H club in the county with an offical club house. The building is a one room school house with wood floors and benches, as well as a pot belly stove. The Kessel White Eagles hold their monthly meetings in the club house during the summer months, as there is no heat for the winter meetings.
