Rossmore Grange is the largest area of community land in the Liverpool local government area. The 81 hectare area contains 4 vegetation communities that are listed as endangered ecological communities. Rossmore Grange is an important area of passive recreation for the community. It is recognised as an place of Aboriginal significance.

History
Rossmore was originally known as Cabramatta after the parish of Cabramatta. It was the subject of a novel called The Cabramatta Store by Mary Theresa Vidal, which is believed to be the first novel published by a woman in Australia. In 1856, the railway line was extended from Granville to Liverpool and a station was established at what is now the modern day Cabramatta. There was a horse stud in the area called Rossmoor Stud which is believed to have been named after Rossmore Lodge a famous horse stud in Kildare, Ireland. To avoid confusion with the new station of Cabramatta, the old town of Cabramatta became known as Rossmore.

I have supplied co-ordinates for the parking area of reserve. Here you will find information boards for the area. This is a good spot to start your walk ride a push bike / mountain bike to cache. Just keep to the walking trails, there is no need to walk through the long grass, only needed the last low number of metres to cache location.
Please Note that the parking area gates are closed at night time, please read the times on gate. If gate is closed park near entrance gate & walk / ride in from here to information boards.

A pair of gloves will help when looking, always be aware of “snakes & spiders” in the bush and have fun.
You’re looking for an ammo can.
You will need to bring pen / pencil is supplied in log book bag.
