Geocache Description:

Help! The Yellow Submarine is lost. The coordinates listed above will NOT lead you to this cache. Penny Lane is NOT in the middle of the lake.

This is the second of three stages for the "Beatles: Find the Yellow Submarine" series. In order get to the Yellow Submarine you must talk to John, Paul, George, Ringo, then drive by Abbey Road and Penny Lane.

Penny Lane is derived from the name of a street in the band's hometown. In the past, street signs saying "Penny Lane" were constant targets of tourist theft and had to be continually replaced. Eventually, city officials gave up and simply began painting the street name on the sides of buildings. This practice was stopped in 2007 and more theft-resistant "Penny Lane" street signs have since been installed though some are still stolen.

You seek a small glass cylinder 6 inches tall and 2 ½ inches in diameter.

OH ... and don't forget to record the coordinates to the Yellow Submarine!
