Geocache Description:

This is number 1 out of a series of 3 caches in this area (there MAY be more to follow in the future). All the caches are based on classic fairytales for example Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. Each of the caches are in Stanion and the location of the first cache is very close to the parking co-ordinates. The caches are all placed on a public footpath which is about a mile walk which takes you to Brigstock.

The Story

Once upon a time there was a little girl her name was Goldilocks. One day goldilocks was out for geocaching, when she saw a house so she went up to the house and knocked on the door. She went in but there was nobody home. Goldilocks saw 3 bowls of porridge on the table. Suddenly goldilocks felt very hungry. “This porridge is to hot” she said “this porridge is too cold” she said “mmm... but this porridge is just right” Said goldilocks as she ate all of the porridge. After eating all of the porridge goldilocks became tired so she sat down. “This chair is way too big” she said “This chair is too soft” “Ahh... this chair is just right” She said then suddenly the chair broke! CRASH! ”whoops!” said goldilocks. Although now goldilocks was very tired so she went upstairs for a lay down. Upstairs she found 3 beds “this bed is too hard” Goldilocks said “This bed is too soft” Goldilocks said “ahhh... this bed is just right... zzzz” Soon after the 3 bears came home. “Who’s ate all our porridge?” said the 3 bears “and who’s broke my chair?”Said baby bear. The 3 bears then went upstairs. “Someone’s been sleeping in my bed- and she’s still there” said baby bear. Suddenly goldilocks woke up and screamed “HELP!!” she got up and ran down the stairs and out the door and the bears never saw her again.
