Geocache Description:

The Pretendy Castle as we call it is actually a work of art created in the 1980's from the stones that supported the old Scotswood Bridge. It is designed in the shape of a old castle ruins.

Windy Nook, above the corner of Sundew Road and Whitehill Drive is one of Gateshead's best kept secrets.

The View from here is amazing - central Newcastle, North and South Tyneside and Sunderland are all clearly seen, and depending on the weather there are excellent view out towards Blyth and into County Durham.

There is always loads of Muggles around so please be careful getting the cache

While you up there, why not grab the earth cache nearby :) (visit link)
