Yet another cache where our tax dollars have recently been put to use.
After months of closure, Cornelius Pass Rd is open again with a wider road and a new bridge. This gives you a chance to admire the work that's been done to improve bridge and roadway. Suggested off Cornelius Pass parking coordiates are given which can be approached via 215th Terr. off Quatama Rd. From this parking spot there is bit of a walk, but no need to cross the busy road. The road is open to both vehicles and pedestrians, but until construction is completely finished, weekend or early evening caching is suggested.
Bonus: Spy a huge bee's nest in a knot hole in a large deciduous tree just a little northeast of the cache site.
