Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed in a beautiful part of Wiltshire with views of Windmill Hill and the Cherhill Monument. The ancient sites of Avebury Stone Circle, Silbury Hill and West Kennett Long Barrow can all be found nearby. Be aware that the cache is within a short distance of the main A4, so please take care.

This can be done as a quick ‘Cache & Dash’, or if you prefer, there are several other geocaches nearby:-

GC3X604 'RAF Yatesbury Remembered'
GC5X32Y 'Wombling Free - Avebury Letterbox'
GCKVZ2 'Naked Greed (Wilts)'
GC4453 ‘Windmill Hill (Wilts)’
GC3Z2W4 'Indigo's Secret'
GC1E258 ‘The Cherhill Monument’

If the lane's not busy, you can park fairly near the cache, alternatively, ample parking can be found at
N51 25.316 W001 53.466
, but please be very careful crossing the A4. If you’d rather walk slightly further (without having to cross the A4), you could park at N51 25.786 W001 54.749

You are looking for a small black tube. Please re-hide the cache well.
