Bridleway Cache Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
The Cache is a small camouflaged clip lock round plastic container, inside a camo bag ... Unfortunately this cache might not be fully accessible for wheelchair users. Access to this cache is along a bridleway path, which can be accessed from several directions.
The cache is a 670ml clip lock plastic container, containing log book, pencil & FTF certificate. When placed cache also contains candle, small bag of polished stones, lanyard, geocaching badge, multi highlighter, bracelet & geocaching info sheet. The Bridleway runs from Silverhill Avenue up to Little Ridge Avenue, with various footpaths along it leading off to surrounding roads from Little Ridge Avenue. Can also be accessed from the public footpath from Old Roar Road. Although only occasionally used by horses these days it is well used by walkers. Please look out for dog walkers - they have a habit of sneaking up on you here as they walk silently. Please use stealth, & replace cache well hidden. The Bridleway Path is fairly flat, ** but can get rather muddy & slippery in places in wet weather...** Not far from the cache location, (heading south), is a fenced off area, with a small pond inside... The pond looks quite sorry these days, full of green yucky looking stuff, but quite often there is a pair of ducks which make their home here & can quite often be seen swimming around the pond... Cache replaced 1st June 2012 (As original has been muggled) ~ Is now a cammo'd 600ml round plastic clip lock conatiner....please ensure cache is replaced & hidden well.... Thank You
