After the events of the 1986 NES classic "Metroid", the region called Tourian of planet Zebes was destroyed along with the mechanical life vein Mother Brain.
Over the course of Samus Aran's next adventures however, her enemies the Space Pirates were busy at work rebuilding a much larger base facility on Zebes...a new Tourian. You must aid Samus by infiltrating Tourian and activating the self destruct system. It won't be easy, for Mother Brain has been resurrected and has the entire region under her control. The bomb lies deep within Tourian, inside Sector 3.

Update: November 27th, 2022 Mother Brain has been defeated. Tourian, the space pirate HQ on planet Zebes has been left in ruins. Enter and explore the ruins of this place at your own risk.
