The name will make sense when you arrive at GZ. The River Street Reserve is a rarely used area, so if you have a Geo-Mutt this is right up your alley as it is a "Leash Off" area covering many acres of grassed reserve so heaps of room for dogs (and Humans) to work off a bit of energy. Please park near the co-ords S: 34 59.357. E: 138 49.604 on Bridge St. DO NOT park in River St as it is only a laneway and both Council and Domestic water tankers fill at the end of the short street. If you park there you may cop the wrath of the drivers or be stuck there until they leave. It is only 50m from Bridge St to the reserve so parking in River St is not necessary. Despite what your GPSr may suggest, River St is the only entrance to the reserve. Please replace me just as you found me. Thanks. Enjoy the park.
