Geocache Description:

Kanaya Castle was established in 1308 (Kamakura Era) by Nakajo Kagenaga. Kanaya Castle was called Koromo Castle samed as Sakura Castle, Shichisyu Castle.
Cache is concealed in the Katte Shrine with monument of Kanaya Castle. The roads is very narrow so please be careful when you come by your vehicle.
The reference point show the remain of the canal and mound. When you access there be careful because it is near the private resident.

金谷城は１３０８年（鎌倉時代）に中條景長によって築かれたと云われます。金谷城は挙母城と呼ばれる城で最古のもので、のちに築かれる（桜城、七州城）の前身といわれています。
キャッシュは金谷城址碑のある勝手神社にあります。付近の道路は非常に狭いので車でお越しの際はご注意ください。
また、キャッシュはありませんがReferenceで示した座標には、空堀、土塁が残っています。アクセスは民家の脇を通るのでご注意ください。
