This cache provides a view of the old Air Force Cadet base. This is where No. 1 squadron cadets would stand in all sorts of weather & get yelled at while standing at attention.
The base is now home of Westside Studios
The cache replaces a similar cache nearby that was muggled. Please be careful this cool looking cache doesn't suffer the same fate. The cache is an old ammo shell (seemed appropriate seeing it's Shelly Bay) with a log sheet inside a waterproof snaplock bag. Please ensure the snaplock bag remains in the upper area of the shell to enable the next geocacher to retrieve & sign the log sheet.
You can almost park next to the cache (rather than get subjected to the sometimes blustery conditions that I had to endure as a cadet)
