Glenda’s Pride N Joy Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Park and grab... Located on private property, (our yard), on a dead end street.
Not much traffic to worry about so little cachers are safe. Wheel chair accessible. Park in the street or in our gravel driveway. Because it is a dead end street, big trucks are probably not a good idea. Cache is small so bring your own pencil.
The big windmill came from Glenda’s home farm. Her father purchased the windmill in 1932 and it served the family farm for 75 years. As a small girl, Glenda has many memories of watering the cows and chickens.
When Glenda sold the farm, the windmill came to town. During the Christmas Holidays we decorate it to look like a large Christmas tree, with green lights on the legs and colored lights wrapped around to the top.
Don’t worry about the people across the street, they are the greatest neighbors, but they may laugh at you if you don’t find it quickly. If you have time ring the door bell and we’ll share a story or two.
PLEASE DON'T DISTURBE THE BIRD HOUSE.. IT IS NOT THE CACHE
