Cache is located along the Waterworks Canyon Trail. Ample parking is located at the trail head. Please re-latch the walk-through gate properly so the elk and bighorn sheep don't get out onto the highway. In warmer weather use caution and look for rattlesnakes and ticks. Best to carry a walking stick to probe concealed area.
While hiking to find current caches in the area I decided to set out a few more to entice geocachers to the area to get some exercise and enjoy a wonderful time.
This canyon trail is a beautiful spot to take a hike. Although the trail gains altitude constantly it's really not too bad of a hike. Children should not have any problem making the trek at least part way. The trail follows a creek for several miles up into the highlands. No matter the time of year there is always wildlife and interesting geological formations to see so take a camera with you. On the day I set the cache out I saw bald eagles and other birds. I even had a herd of seven bighorn sheep come within 200' of me. Enjoy the hike, keep your eyes scanning the area and have some fun.
The name of the cache should give you a good hint when you get to the GZ.
