Geocache Description:

Mustache Bill's Diner
March 19th, 2011 @ 9:30am
8th and Broadway, Barnegat Light, NJ
609-494-0155

Please post a will attend log if you plan on being there for the 9:30 meet. We've reserved the back room that can accommodate 25 people or so. While the middle of March usually isn't the busy season, nice weather can bring a crowd.
Also please note, Mustache Bill's is cash only!

New Jersey. Think of the state and you think of all sorts of things. The beautiful mountains of the skylands. The long sandy stretches of the Jersey Shore. The urban cityscapes of Newark, New Brunswick, and Trenton. The infamous Exit jokes. (Yeah, we're bored of those.) Marshes and forests that pockmark our state from end to end.

And diners.

We're the diner capital of America. We take a wonderfully American concept and make it New Jersey's very own. Our state thrives on coffee in big ceramic cups, giant buttery pancakes, and eggs made any style.

So the "Tour de Diner" is born; a tour of New Jersey's 21 counties by means of its diners. Each month, the New Jersey Geocaching community will visit a different diner in a different county, exploring the beauties of the state.

Tour de Diner #3: Mustache Bill's, Barnegat Light, NJ
(This diner fulfils the Ocean County event)
19 March 2011, 9:30am AM

Mustache Bill's is a classic aluminum and chrome diner that feature a wide range of awesome breakfast choices including the infamous Cyclopes and some of Jersey's best corned beef hash and grits. The exterior is classic and is watched over by Old Barney. Inside is updated but still has that classic diner feel. The food is very good for diner fare and reasonably priced, which is good as Mustache Bill's is CASH ONLY.

Let meet at 9:30am on March 19th. I've reserved the "museum room", which should accommodate at least 25 people. With that in mind, please post a will attend log if you plan on being there for the 9:30 meet by the Tuesday (3/15) prior to the event.. While the staff will be more then happy to seat us as individual parties, they would like to have a head up on how many people are expected so they can staff appropriately. The middle of March is isn't the busy season along the Jersey Shore, but nice weather can bring a crowd.

Please note, Mustache Bill's is cash only!
