Geocache Description:

BYOP A easy cache at a familar location that many folks over look yet it overlooks us and keeps us alive by what it infiltrates into our neighbor.

BYOP Long before there was "Area 51" there was a "Area 8" right here in Fayetteville. Legend has it that during the infamous 1938 War of the Worlds night time radio broadcast a few of these where shot at because folks though they were alien invaders. Even when they had already been there for years! You will and should not enter the " radioactive containment" area for to look for bogus alien remains in fact they left a all seeing eye at the entry here to watch us. The cache is in a area the eye cannot see. Please do not disturb the surviving humans who huddle next door not knowing when they may return in full force. (LOL) UPDATE 3/12/12: After destroying the streets and yards of the neighborhood and some of the aliens took the "Area 8" sign with them which had the original cache. The area is still designated Area 8 by the city and has been patched back together. Update 1/12/18 The aliens returned! Destroying the streets to the school nearby they jumped the main road and destroyed the storm drain system. The government has returned to the area in 3/12/18 and are repairing everything again with a promise to restore the much patched streets and yards to new condition however... June 12th 2020. After much upheaval friendly aliens returned and have repave the streets. They're in excellent shape. Regretfully alien viruses have held back many people. And the owner has neglected the cats for some time but has replaced the catch of this day it is still in the same location regrets for those who may have pissed finding the catch. The destructive aliens remain in their original fortress station behind the cache site. please place the cache back exactly as you found it. Hope you enjoy the lol. Enjoy the hunt
